I would like to use translation services to speak in my native language. What do I do?

If you wish to request that your session be in a language that a counselor does not speak, we now have Zoom AI translate available. Please message support@bettermynd.com with the following information:

  1. The email you used to register for BetterMynd
  2. Your first and last name
  3. The organization you use BetterMynd with
  4. The first and last name of your counselor
  5. The date and time of your session (Include your time zone)
  6. Which language you'd like the translation feature for

Here is an example of what that email should look like:


"Hi my name is John Doe and I attend BetterMynd University. I wish to have my upcoming session use Zoom AI Translate in Japanese. My counselor is Jane Doe and our session is at 6:00 EST on 1/1/2025. My email is johndoe@bettermynd.com"


You can also ask for support from your campus administrators.


When you use translation services, both you and your counselor will turn on captions (in your chosen language) and you will see written text in your language. This will allow you to communicate effectively with a counselor.
