How do I request more credits?

Credits are managed and approved by your school. While BetterMynd may assist in applying credits to your account in some cases, requests for additional credits much go through your school first.


How to request more credits:

  1. Login to your BetterMynd Account
  2. Locate your school's Credit Policy on your Dashboard.
  3. Follow the instructions listed to request more credits.
    1. This will typically direct you to a specific campus contact.

👉 To request more credits, you should contact your school directly using the information provided in your Credit Policy.

Common Situations


I have 0 credits after registering:

  • If your school provides credits, they may take some time to appear after registration.
  • Some schools require students to be manually added to a list of students who receive credits. Please contact the person listed in your Credit Policy to request or inquire about your credits.
  • If your credits do not appear after some time, contact your school to confirm your eligibility.

I was supposed to receive credits but don't see them:

  • Your school may need to confirm your eligibility or manually add credits to your account.
  • In some cases, BetterMynd may assist with adding the credits after your school confirms this.
  • Start by contacting your school for next steps.

I already booked a session but don't have credits:

  • If no credits are available and you booked a session, your account will show a pending payment.
  • You will need to:
    • Contact your school to request credits, OR
    • Pay out of pocket if credits are not provided.
    • If credits are provided, you can follow these instructions to clear the pending payment with a credit.

Why do I need to contact my school?:

  • Your school determines:
    • How many credits you receive.
    • Whether you are eligible for additional credits.
    • When and how credits are applies.

BetterMynd works with your school to apply credits when appropriate, but your school must approve them first.
